Christmas Party!!

Ok, I have decided to have our friends' Christmas party on Wed. December, 28th. I hope this works for the majority of you. I know it is technically after Christmas, but this works well for us! We hope to see a lot of you! We have decided no kids, unless they are lil babies! Don't be mad, K? I don't really have many toys. I hope this doesn't stop people from coming! I know Brooke usually does soup. That sounds good to me! I have never actually been to one of Brooke's parties because we're usually so busy or out of town! Let me know what you want to bring and if you can come. Tell me if you want to bring a dessert, soup, salad or bread (rolls) of some sort. Thanks guys! See you soon. Oh yeah, and let's say 6:00? Is that a good time for everyone?

Ok everyone! Meg has very kindly offered to host the party at her home in Holladay!! Yay! Thanks Meg!

Please vote in the comments which works best for you (or if you have a few dates that work, you can vote for those). Majority rules!

Also, Meg has requested just babes in arms. Cash is only 9 months and she doesn't have a ton of toys for older kids! Also, with sicknesses and such going on, we thought it would be best. Hopefully we as adults can have a more enjoyable time without worrying about our children.

Once we decide on a date, we will assign the food!

Christmas Party?!

Hey everyone! It's that time of year and for the past 3 years (right?!) Brooke has been sooo generous to have the Christmas party at her home. Brooke just welcomed a sweet new baby, Kelsey, into her family and will not be hosting the party this year.

So, the question is, who still wants to do it/can do it? And would anyone be willing to host it? I have thought about hosting, but I will have some family in town, which makes it a bit tricky for me. Karen also was going to do it, but her baby is due in January and she is nervous about timing it close just in case the baby decides to come early (although we're all hoping she doesn't come early!). The great thing is, we do this potluck, so if you want to host it, everyone will help out! We just need someone to take charge and we can go from there. I will send everyone an email to look at this post, but please comment here. Thanks everyone!

Mrs. Clause Boutique

This blog has never had so much activity in one day... ;) I'm trying to spread the word about an event I'm involved in. It's called the Mrs. Clause Boutique and is put on by the spouse association for Adam's program. Here's the info: Mrs. Clause Boutique Saturday, December 3, 2011, 10am-2pm 997 N 1880 W, Provo Cash and Check ONLY This boutique is full of wonderful handmade and original items created by BYU MBA and Law Student spouses. These items will be like those you could find on Etsy, but no shipping costs! There will be great treasures for yourself or holiday gifts for others. There will be everything from baby accessories and apparel for women and children to holiday candy and household decorations. This event is at a clubhouse with plenty of parking. If spots in front and behind the clubhouse are taken, park on Independence Ave (1890 W) and head down. There will be street signs for the boutique to show you the way. Invite your friends! Hayden Kristopher Coles

Hey everyone! Since I don't have my own blog, I thought I'd post an update here. Hayden Kristopher Coles was born June 4th. He was 7lbs. 1oz. and 20in. He's doing great! I'm finally doing great. Long story short, for 3 months I dealt with kidney stones on top of being pregnant so I had surgery to have a stint placed. I had surgery a couple weeks after Hayden was born to blast the stones so they would come out in pieces and to have the stint removed. I'm doing WONDERFUL now. I really appreciate a pain free life now.

Kris graduated with his Master's in May and works at UVU as an advisor for student government and is the program director of orientations. He's planning on applying for a PHD program this fall.

Brynlee will be 2 in August and is loving being a big sister! Life is good!

Howdeeee!

Hey all. We are coming to Utah for Thanksgiving and my grandma is arranging for us to see the ponies from Howdy Town. Click here, if you don't know what it is. Anyway, I wanted to see if any of you would be interested in coming. There are three horses and they are miniature Palominos. They look pretty cute to me. Anyway, let me know!

What a first Fathers day for Stuart! We woke up this morning to find that someone had broken in to our house, stolen my purse, my phone (so don't try to call me) 4 ipods, our camera, Lafaunda wallet, Mark gold watch and worst of all OUR CAR! Yes our Subaru that is not even a year old yet! I hate thieves. Grrrrr! So we spent our morning with the Cottonwood Heights Police and all the credit card companys canceling our credit cards.
